Hi, I’m Colin Noble, and this is my website.
In my Business life, I am a 3rd generation housebuilder & involved in the Modular Housing sector building social and mixed tenure Housing.
I’m born and raised in Lakenheath, Suffolk and live in the village with my partner Lisa.
Since 2006 it’s been my pleasure to be the County Councillor for the Row Heath Division on Suffolk County Council, and I am a life long Conservative.
In July 2013, I had the honour to be elected to the Conservative National Executive of the Local Government Association (LGA). I have served in a variety of roles until September 2021, when I stepped down.
From May 2015 to May 2018, I have had the privilege to be the Leader of Suffolk County Council and the Vice-Chairman of Forest Heath District Council’s Performance and Audit Scrutiny Committee.
From July 2016 to May 2018, I was the Health and Social Care Spokesperson for the County Council Network and was for a couple of years the LGA’s Regional Conservative Peer. Switching roles to return to the LGA’s Community Wellbeing Board in September 2018 for my second term on the Board and I stepped down in September 2021.
Its also been my privilege to have served a stint on the Board of the Conservative Councillors Associations which represent all Conservative Councillors across the county.
From March 2019 to September 2021, I was a Commissioner for a new national body called ICCAN – Independent Commission for Civil Aviation noise – I led on Community Engagement.
I am also a Conservative Party activist and have had roles at Deputy Chairman, Chairman and President of West Suffolk Conservatives. I have also been Chairman of Norwich North Conservatives eventually forming the Norwich Federation of Associations. I’ve been an Area Officer, Deputy Chairman Political and Chairman of the Norfolk and Suffolk Area. For the past few years I have had the pleasure to be a Regional officer then Deputy Chairman Polticial and I have now had the honour of being elected the Conservative Eastern Region Chairman in September 2021 – and in all these roles hopefully helping MPs, Councillors and activists over the years.
That’s a quick summary of the key great roles I’ve had and enjoyed, and there is a more detailed write up in on this site under my political CV.
You could sum up my views of politics as being about helping shape great services and making Councils as efficient as possible whilst keeping Council Tax as low as possible after all it’s your hard-earned money!
